Sizzling Brownie with ice cream / Weight Watchers Brownie

Brownie made up of whole wheat flour and ripe bananas along with walnuts and chocolate chunks which makes it healthier than the traditional recipe.
Ingredients
  • Dry Ingredients :
  • Whole wheat flour ¾ cup
  • All purpose flour (maida) ¼ cup (optional) (Take 1 cup of whole wheat flour if you don't want to add all purpose flour)
  • Salt just a pinch
  • Baking powder ~1 tsp
  • Baking soda ¼ tsp
  • Cocoa powder - 1 tsp
  • Dark chocolate chunks ¼ - ½ cup ( according to your preference) or you can just use cocoa powder
  • Chocolate chunks or chocolate chips Handful
  • Walnut - ~ ¼ cup chopped
  • Wet Ingredients:
  • Coconut oil / any flavorless oil / Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Perfectly ripe mashed banana - 1½ to 2
  • Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
  • Instant coffee powder ¼ tsp
  • Milk 1-2 tbsp (if required)
  • Condensed milk / Maple syrup/ Honey /Agave - If required then use according to sweetness ( I used condensed milk ~2 tbsp)
  • For sizzling brownie with ice cream:
  • Hot iron plate
  • Chocolate syrup 1-2 tbsp (according to your choice)
  • Vanilla ice cream - 1 scoop
Instructions
  1. Sift all dry ingredients together except chocolate chips and walnuts.
  2. Take microwave safe bowl and add oil, dark chocolate chunks, cocoa powder, instant coffee powder. Microwave it for 15- 20 seconds and whisk it till chocolate melts.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix it thoroughly.
  4. Now add all the dry ingredient to the wet mixture in batches and fold them gently.
  5. You can use condensed milk or milk to adjust the consistency and sweetness.
  6. Mixture has to be bit thick then dropping consistency.
  7. Grease square pan or baking pan of you choice with cooking spray/ oil.
  8. Tap pan once or twice and bake them into the preheated oven at 375*F for approximately 20 mins or till your toothpicks comes out clean. If it is coming out clean that means it's done.
  9. Take it out and wait for a minute or two then take it out from the pan.
  10. Serve it hot with an ice cream or use hot plate to make sizzling brownie.
  11. For Making sizzling brownie heat iron plate and place brownie in it. Keep hot iron plate carefully in wooden plate. Add ice cream on top of brownie and and add chocolate syrup on ice cream and hot plate.
  12. Serve it right away.
Notes
You can have it without ice cream for low calorie version.

Use coconut/ soy/ almond milk if you are vegan.

You can make it in a pressure cooker too if you don't have oven.

you can use heavy bottom pan if you don't have iron plate.
